Special Education Information Session on October 6, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Armour Heights Public School, 148 Wilson Avenue

I will be co-hosting a Ward Forum on special education with Trustee Howard Goodman. Cindy Burley, Central Co-ordinating Principal, Special Education will be our keynote speaker. The event will take place on Tuesday October 6, 2009 at 7:00 PM. Armour Heights PS is west of Bathurst Street on the north side of Wilson. We will also be welcoming to the Ward our new superintendent John Chasty. There is a full children's prgram, including an author with free books and a movie. Ward 5 Hosts Public Health Event to discuss H1N1 on September 22 at Dublin Heights

We will be hosting an important information session to help parents and educators understand prevention strategies for flu seasion. The event will be held on Tuesday September 22, 2009 at 6:45 PM at Dublin Heights Elementary and Middle School at 100 Bainbridge Avenue. Speakers include Chris Broadbent Manager ,Heal th and Safety,
Toronto District School Board and Melodie Anderson Public Health Nurse,
Toronto Public Health. There will be refreshments and for the kids an author reading with free books and a free movie. Naturally, parents are welcome to discuss other matters. Please contact me at james.pasternak@tdsb.on.ca to register.
